If more than one line crosses through a station the answer is "yes" if the hider is in any of the lines going through the station. The Seekers cannot specify which of the lines. This includes S-bahns, U-bahns, Tram-trains, or other things that may stop at that station.

Agreed. This question is essentially "is it possible to get from your station to my station without needing to change trains" if the answer is yes, it's on the same line.
